What are Marionette lines?
Marionette lines are caused by mid-face volume loss which is a common part of ageing. As we age, the fat which keeps our face looking plump, young and healthy, degrades, shrinks, and slips downwards which results in the overlying skin losing its support. This sagging means that the lower face can develop jowls along the jawline and marionette lines around the mouth. The treatment of the Marionette Lines with the Dermal Filler is recommended to be considered in conjunction with treating the lost mid-face volume and support in the chin and the surrounding areas.
What happens during the treatment?
The skin will be thoroughly cleaned and numbing cream will be applied if necessary. Our Injector will then gently inject the dermal filler into the target areas.

You will see an instant, visible result with this treatment. The area may be slightly bruised and tender however this will go down after 24-48 hours. Results will continue to progress over a two week period.
